What we're looking for: We are seeking a talented individual who will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, delivering and maintaining data warehouse and ETL solutions based on business requirements. The Data Developer will apply expertise in multiple areas of new ETL design and development, requirements gathering, data modeling, high-level architecture, database structures, methodologies, and data analysis. This role will also be responsible for maintenance, optimization, and support of current ETL designs by collaborating with software developers to achieve the best solutions to optimize code and processes.

What you'll do:

  • Write complex SQL queries, views, stored procedures, triggers, jobs, and functions
  • Review SQL code and recommend optimizations while enforcing best practices
  • Provide ETL design, development and unit testing estimations based on business requirements
  • Develop, maintain and administer ETL jobs using SSIS package
  • Design and implement data pipelines to prepare, process and organize data in the warehouse
  • Contribute to the design and development of the data warehouse system and assist with up to date documentation
  • Support designing and developing database and data sourcing/ETL requirements to ensure efficient reporting and BI
  • Ensure data integration/ETL is implemented and monitored successfully to enable data quality, availability, and data freshness
  • Ensure SQL agent jobs, schedule tasks, ETL processes and services run successfully

What you'll need:

  • SSIS experience 3+ years of experience
  • SQL Server 2012 or higher experience
  • Strong analytical skills to trouble issues and identify resolutions
  • Advances T-SQL/SQL knowledge (table creation, stored procedures, functions, views)
  • Able to interact with all levels of employees
  • Ability to manage deadlines
  • Willingness to learn new skills
  • SSRS Experience: 2 plus years of experience
  • Visual Studio 2015 and above experience
  • Data Modeling Experience 1+ year experience
  • Strong ETL Design including error handling and auditing
