Description: This position supports all non-salary functions within the Human Resources department. Functions may include employee selection, onboarding, communication, wellness, record management, benefits administration, and event planning.  

Responsibilities Include:

Employee Selection

  • Coordinates employee selection process, including posting open positions to the Applicant Tracking System, RSNA's intranet and external job boards.
  • Assists in creation of structured interview questions.
  • Works with hiring managers to develop applicant assessments and screening questions.
  • Meets with each applicant to review RSNA's benefits package and completes background release authorization paperwork.


  • Coordinates building tours, radiology facility tours, and new employee meetings with the Executive Director as part of new hire onboarding.
  • Completes desk training with all new hires, including introduction to intranet and enrollment in employee systems.
  • Provides new employees with explanation of benefits and applicable documentation.


  • Writes employee communications.
  • Solicits information from various departments for weekly internal employee communications, such as announcements and blog posts.
  • Updates intranet (Microsoft SharePoint).


  • Manages wellness programs, including yoga (scheduling and contract management), walking group, lunch-n-learns, and special events.
  • Serves on the wellness committee.

Record Management

  • Maintains and updates HR records, including documents, spreadsheets, and HR systems (ADP, Halogen, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, and shared drives).
  • Administers time off policies.
  • Manages part-time and intern timesheets.

Benefits Administration

  • Creates new hire benefit packets and COBRA packets.
  • Processes monthly benefit invoices.
  • Administers one year anniversary benefits and retirement plan changes.
  • Assists with open enrollment process.

Event Planning

  • Assists in organizing the annual employee summer event and employee transportation to/from RSNA's annual meeting.


  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft 365, and ability to learn new software
  • Microsoft SharePoint experience a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Editing and proofreading skills
  • Highly organized, detail oriented and self-directed
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects
